They learned teamwork, shared plenty of laughs, and enjoyed their first taste of friendly competition on the lanes. Mrs. Reynolds holds an Undergraduate Degree from Salisbury University in Elementary Education and is currently pursuing a Graduate Degree from La Salle with a concentration in Teaching Strategies for the 21st Century Learner. We’re excited to announce that our cafeteria is going green! PES has officially launched a composting program, helping our students learn how to reduce waste and take care of our planet. 💚
This initiative is led by one of our amazing custodians, Mr. Jase Woodland, who is teaching students how to properly sort compostable materials right in the cafeteria. Instead of adding to landfills, our food scraps will be turned into nutrient-rich compost and shared with local vendors to support Eastern Shore farms! 🚜🌾
A huge thank you to Mr. Woodland for leading this effort and to our students for doing their part to make a difference. Together, we’re building a greener future—one compost bin at a time! 🍎♻️
