PES will celebrate Autism Awareness Day with other CCPS schools on Tuesday, April 2. To show support to raise awareness about Autism and for those who live with Autism daily, we encourage students and staff to wear blue on this day.



Attention PES Families: On Friday, April 12, we will have our second Breakfast with Buddies event for this year! Last year the response was fantastic, and unexpected to say the least! This is why we are holding our grades 3 to 5 Breakfast with Buddies on Friday, 4/12 starting at 8 AM. Please see our advertisements below for details. Today PES celebrated Maryland Day, showing our love for our great state! We are proud lovers of blue crabs, our O's, Terps, and Ravens, Old Bay, and the (at least in our opinion) best state flag in the USA! Happy Maryland Day! 🦀 #PESPantherPride

Mrs. Riley's 1st graders have been wanting to build Humphrey mazes, and they had Humphrey in their class this whole week! They earned 10 class panther paws, and then voted to build these specific mazes! They did AMAZING and worked in 3 teams to build 3 great mazes! This definitely was a great day and they loved it! 🐹😎🤓 #PESPantherPride








Our Pre-K Panthers have another awesome STEAM project to show us! This time it's combining two creatures to make a whole new creation! Way to go Pre-K! #PESPantherPride





PES will celebrate Maryland Day on Tuesday, 3/26! On this day we wear our Maryland colors proudly! Students and staff are encouraged to wear red, black, gold, or any Terps, Orioles, Ravens, or other Maryland gear!

5th grade and middle school parents:
Registration is now open for the 2024 Summer Career Enrichment Program (SCEP), a 4-week program for middle school students to engage in hands-on activities. Students can enroll in Animation, App Development, Careers in Healthcare, Chess, Cyber Security, Drones, Media Arts, Presentation/Video Design, and Robotics. Location is Colonel Richardson Middle School; bus transportation provided.
This program is in partnership with the People for Change Coalition, Mid-Shore Regional Council, Rural Maryland Council, and 3 County school systems: Dorchester, Talbot, and Caroline.
