Dear PES Families,
We’re excited to announce that Friday, November 14, 2025, will be a very special day at Preston Elementary School as we celebrate both Grandparents Day and our Veterans Day Program!
Grandparents Day will take place all day, offering grandparents and special guests a wonderful opportunity to experience a day in the life of their PES Panther. Important details are as follows:
Parking: Available in the front lot, along the side of the building, or by the tennis courts.
Pre-Raptoring Registration: We encourage grandparents to register ahead of time through the main office.
Check-In: Upon arrival, all guests should enter through the main entrance to sign in and receive a Grandparents Day sticker.
Book Fair: Our Fall Book Fair will be open throughout the day for grandparents and students to enjoy together.
In the afternoon, we will honor our nation’s heroes with our Veterans Day Program, beginning promptly at 2:00 PM in the gymnasium.
Seating: Visitors may begin finding seats at 1:45 PM.
Entry: Please use the Car Rider Loop/Cafeteria entrance for this event.
Dress Code: Students and visitors are encouraged to wear red, white, and blue
We are also creating a Veterans Wall of Honor in the main hallway leading to the cafeteria. Students and visitors may contribute a photo of a veteran to display on the wall. Photos can be brought to school anytime before November 14. Please label each photo with the student’s name and remember to avoid vintage or original photos, as they may become damaged.
All event details will also be shared in our newsletter, posted on our school website, and emailed to families. Printed information letters for both events will be sent home this week.
