Open enrollment has started for Pre-K and Kindergarten programming for the 25-26 school year. Please see our newsletter for more information.

🎉 PES 5th Grade Luau Celebration! 🎉 Let’s honor our amazing 5th graders with a day full of fun, food, and memories! 🌺 This event will be on June 11, 2025. In the morning we will have a Slideshow Celebration at PES for students and families, and in the afternoon we will have lunch and games at the James T. Wright Park. Please see the information packets sent home with all 5th-grade families for full event details. Join us as we celebrate our fantastic students and all they’ve accomplished!

The CCPS Board of Education has released the amended 24-25 school calendar to account for snow days and make-ups. Please see the article in our newsletter for details and a copy of the amended school calendar.

Let’s give a big shout-out to Ms. Asbury, our passionate and talented Art Specialist at PES & RES! With 12 years of dedicated service—all at PES & RES—Ms. Asbury continues to inspire creativity and imagination in every student she teaches. Her educational background is as impressive as her classroom with an Associate of Fine Arts from Delaware College of Art & Design, a BFA in Art Education from the Moore College of Art & Design, and a Master's of Education from LaSalle University. She serves on both the PBIS and CDAT SIP committees, constantly contributing to the growth of our school community. Ms. Asbury’s professional goals reflect her love of lifelong learning as she plans to continue taking art classes to bring new techniques into the classroom and use Art of Ed University PDs to expand her skills and knowledge Thank you, Ms. Asbury, for making art come alive for our students and helping them find the artist within! 🖌️💜
