Our annual PES Ruritan/Idlewild Club Food Drive is ending this week on Friday, 12/15! Families are encouraged to donate non-perishable items to this important cause. Items can be brought in with students and given to their classroom teachers. Please see the newsletter for all of the important details.
The PES PBIS Committee is selling Candygrams! Candygram sales benefit our PBIS program. Forms have already been sent home, and you can send them back in with your student for Candygram deliveries! All Candygram orders are also due by this Friday, December 15th.
Holiday Spirit Week will take place the week of December 18th to the 22nd. Please see our newsletter for the specifics for this fun week of festive dress!
The PES Holiday Winter Concert will take place on Tuesday, December 19th at 7 PM. The concert will feature our chorus, band, and orchestra and take place at Colonel Richardson High School. Please see our newsletter for our advertisements.
Finally, thank you, everyone, for the successful launch of our One School, One Book at PES with "The World According to Humphrey". Humphrey is settling right in at PES, and has been out and about in our classrooms, our hallways, and other places and has quickly become one of our students' favorite friends to check in on! In this newsletter, we have the letter explaining our OSOB program and the timeline for reading the book both at school and at home with your students. We have also sent this information home in backpacks with helpful questions as well to enjoy "The World According to Humphrey" with your students!
