Our annual PES Ruritan/Idlewild Club Food Drive is currently ongoing! Families are encouraged to donate non-perishable items to this important cause. Items can be brought in with students and given to their classroom teachers. Please see the newsletter for all of the important details.
This week is a short two-day week! We want to wish all of our PES Families and the entire Preston community a very Happy Thanksgiving! We hope it is a wonderful holiday filled with family, friends, and laughter!
Next Monday, 11/27, is PES Parent/Teacher Conference Day. Please see the information sent home by classroom teachers for scheduling information
We have a very exciting fundraiser for Preston Elementary School just in time for the holidays! We have partnered with a local business to offer you beautiful laser-cut wooden ornaments. Ornaments will be delivered on December 15th to PES, and all orders must be placed by December 1st. Please see our newsletter, Facebook Page, app, or emails for details on how to order.
Finally, thank you, everyone, for the successful launch of our One School, One Book at PES with "The World According to Humphrey". Humphrey is settling right in at PES, and has been out and about in our classrooms, our hallways, and other places and has quickly become one of our students' favorite friends to check in on! In this newsletter, we have the letter explaining our OSOB program and the timeline for reading the book both at school and at home with your students. We have also sent this information home in backpacks with helpful questions as well to enjoy "The World According to Humphrey" with your students!
