Dear PES Families,
PES will be honoring Veterans with a "Wall of Honor" located in the main hallway of our school. The wall is made of red, white, and blue bricks which we would like to fill with pictures of Veterans from our community.
Families are welcome to send in a picture of a Veteran they would like to honor which will be added to a brick on the wall (Hard copies only, please. Please do not e-mail photos to anybody at the school). Please include their name, branch of service, and which PES student they "belong to."
You can also bring a picture with you if you come to our Veterans Day Assembly on Friday. There will be a small table with tape, pens, and info tags so that you can add the picture to the wall yourself. The pictures will be on display for several weeks after Veterans Day and then returned to you.
Please DO NOT send original pictures or one-of-a-kind memories that you wouldn't want to get accidentally damaged. We will do our best to secure any pictures to the wall, but this display will be in a hallway and pictures could fall and get stepped on or lost. A photo of a photo or copy would be best.
