Our Preston Panther PTO will hold their Joe Corbi pick-up date on Monday, 10/23 in the PES car rider loop/cafeteria foyer entrance area starting at 4 PM. Be on the lookout for information from our PTO about this event.
Our Annual PES Academic Night is coming up this Tuesday, October 24th! This year we are having a special Birthday Party to welcome a new friend to PES who is going to be joining our adventures! But shhh...it's a surprise! Food Trucks will be available starting at 5 PM with outdoor eating and the doors will open at the event for 6! We will have games, crafts, raffles, and of course, our new friend! We can't wait to share our new adventure that our students, staff, and community will embark on! Hope to see everyone there!
PES is looking forward to a spooky good time on Halloween this year! We will be holding our Halloween Parade at 9:30 AM, open to parents and families. Halloween Parties will follow afterward. Please see this weekend's newsletter for specific information about the Halloween Parade. Please refer to Classroom Party Letters from grade level teams as they are sent home for specific party times and volunteer attendance for parties.
PES will be honoring the Hispanic holiday of Dia de Muertos (Day of the Dead) on Wednesday, November 1, 2023. This celebration is a happy holiday focused on deceased loved ones, keeping their memories alive, and celebrating the continuation of life beyond the one we live here on Earth. We are inviting all students and staff to bring in one picture of a loved one who has passed to be displayed on our school-wide Ofrenda. Photos should be turned in no later than Friday, October 27th.
