Dear PES Families,
Hello, we hope everyone is doing well! Please be sure to read our newsletter in full for all of the latest PES news.

Wednesday, September 20 is our annual PES Back To School Night! This event will take place from 6 to 7 PM at PES. We will have a vendor fair in the cafeteria, Kona Ice on hand in our car rider loop with proceeds benefitting our PTO, as well as many of our teachers and staff on hand with classrooms open for touring. Teachers will also have basic information for families pertaining to their classrooms, procedures, and other pieces that are relevant to their grade level. Please see the flyers in the newsletter and also on our various social media outlets.
Fall Pictures will take place on Thursday, September 28. Strawbridge Studios will be providing picture services for PES for the 23-24 school year. We will be sending home paper order forms soon to all families. Online ordering information is in this newsletter, and will also be emailed to all families separately and posted to our social media outlets.
Please consider supporting our Preston Panther PTO with the Joe Corbi Fundraiser. Order forms have been sent home with all students and online ordering is available. Information on their important fundraiser is in the newsletter and also on our social media outlets.
Please be sure to return the Volunteer Form, Choptank Health Registration form, PTO membership form, and any other important classroom documents that have been sent home this week. Our volunteer form is necessary for attending school events and chaperoning field trips. Please be sure to turn the Volunteer form over to the back, as it is a front-to-back document. Please consider sending the PTO membership form in and joining our PTO.
In this newsletter, we also have the information needed for our families in need to sign up for the food weekend backpack program. If you are already enrolled in this program you do not need to sign up again. This information will also be posted to our CCPS app and our Facebook page.
