Hello, we hope everyone is doing well! Please be sure to read our newsletter in full for all of the latest PES news.

Our annual summer mailing for the beginning of the 2023-2024 School Year has been sent out to all K-5 families. Pre-K 3 and 4 will be getting their information soon, as it becomes available. This mailing included class assignments, welcome-back letters with details about changes at PES, our PES Home School Compact, a CCPS calendar, and a school supply list for your student's grade. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to call PES administration or send an email.
In this newsletter, we also have the information needed for our families in need to sign up for the food weekend backpack program. If you are already enrolled in this program you do not need to sign up again. This information will also be posted to our CCPS app and our Facebook page.
Our annual Meet the Teacher event, which will take place at 2 PM on Thursday, August 31. This will be an opportunity for you to drop off school supplies, meet your teacher, tour your classroom, sign up for PTO membership, and more! Kona Ice will be on hand for all PES families for purchase with a percentage of the proceeds benefitting the PTO. Please see our advertisement in our newsletter, on our app, and social media outlets. We hope to see you there!
