Caroline Families: We have been advised that construction on River Road is ending, and it will reopen by Friday afternoon, October 25. At that time, we will resume our normal bus routes. Please be prepared that pick up and drop off times may vary by as much as 15 minutes as we make this transition. We appreciate the assistance, collaboration and communication from our partners, the Caroline County Commissioners, Sheriff’s Office and Public Works, and MDOT as this important project was completed.

Another Youth Apprenticeship signed! NCHS Senior Kyren Hawkins recently signed a Youth Apprenticeship contract with Justin Smith, President of Midshore Technology Services in Denton. Kyren is a in the Computer Science Program of Study Cybersecurity class in the Project Lead the Way Program with teacher Chrissie Yoxall. The apprenticeship will expand on Kyren’s current knowledge and provide on-the-job training in the business world. YA Fun Fact: This is the second contact Midshore has entered into. First apprentice Christopher Ireland graduated in 2023, began his career with Midshore, and will now be Kyren's mentor 😁 That's #CarolineFamily. As we say farewell to the 2023-2024 school year, we also say goodbye to our retiring bulldogs. They have all contributed greatly to the NCHS community.
