Congratulations to the CRHS varsity football team for their 55-28 Homecoming win over Snow Hill High School! Sophomore Derrick Mitchell lead the way with three touchdowns from 7, 15, and 4 yards. Junior Tarron Hammond had two touchdowns from 25 yards and 4 yards. Junior Collin Brewer, junior Dylan Cecil, and sophomore Cha'tydrick Pickrom both had rushing touchdowns. #ColonelTOUGH #homegrown

Congratulations to the CRHS girls varsity soccer team for their 16-1 win over Crisfield High School on senior night! Defensively, only one shot on goal was allowed while the Colonels had 36. Thirteen different girls scored goals, several of which celebrated their first ever high school goals. Seniors Meghan Lambert and Clarissa Peugh both scored, along with juniors Adan Alvi, Vanessa Odidika, and Kallie Peele, sophomores Abby Gunnarsson and Lila Schriefer, and freshmen Ava Collins, Ella Downie, Sadie Prettyman, Gabi Roe, and Cloee Welzel. Their next game is on Monday, October 9th at Easton High School. #ColonelTOUGH #homegrown

Mrs. Smith's Chemistry students investigated the concept half-life of radioactive elements by modeling nuclear decay using the element "M&Mium." After collecting data, they created a graphical model of half-life decay, and they used their new understanding of half-life to perform calculations. Of course, the best part was disposing of M&Mium at the end of class! #ColonelTOUGH
