About Our School
Preston Elementary School is a Pre-Kindergarten through Grade Five school-wide Title One School. We also maintain a program for 3-year-old children and children with special needs. We are located on the Eastern Shore of Maryland in rural Caroline County.
Preston Elementary has numerous educational, charitable, and outreach-based programs that collaborate with our parents and community to serve the needs of the whole child. In addition, parents regularly attend school functions such as Teacher Meet and Greet, Back to School Night, Fall and Spring Book Fairs, Academic Nights based on current classroom content, Grandparent and Parent Days, Veterans Day, and multiple PTA-sponsored functions. Preston Elementary School encourages volunteers to help facilitate and grow these events.
In addition, our students are exposed to a rigorous academic and cultural curriculum. This includes courses of study in music, physical education, media, art, guidance lessons focused on social and emotional wellness, and computer usage.
