Dear PES Families,

Hello! I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend with the sunny weather we have been having!

This week we have multiple important updates for you, and reposts of information that remains current. Please read the newsletter in its entirety.

Attention all PES Families: The mask mandate for all CCPS schools remains in effect for all staff, adults entering the building, or students aged 5 or above. Please see the press release in the newsletter below.

Grades 3-5 students: We are still missing several books from your Q2 ELA module! We are going to have a competition to see which class can bring back the most books. The winning homeroom will receive a pizza party from Mr. Angeloni! Please return the following books to your teacher- or drop them off in the bin outside of PES- if you have not already done so by May 28th. See the attached poster in the newsletter for images of the books from each grade level.

The PES Yearbook is on sale! Please see the flyer in this newsletter to order via Strawbridge Studio’s online website! Tomorrow, Monday, May 17th, is the last day to order!

Students will participate in Virtual Field Day this year due to COVID-19. Please see the press release in this newsletter from CCPS.

Band and Chorus students please pay attention to Mr. List’s emails for important information about upcoming band and chorus in-person and virtual practices/lessons.

5th Grade parents, Mrs. Juli Walls and Mrs. Emily Sherman, and the 5th-grade team are actively planning this year’s 5th-grade event. This event will be an in-school event only and for students only this year due to COVID-19 and the safety of our staff and students. Information has been sent home with details about this end-of-year event for your 5th-grade students, including an order form for t-shirts! This information has also been posted in student Google Classrooms for virtual learners.
